Infusion is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer that is passionate about technology and solving DevOps problems in the Financial Services sector. In this role, you will work in partnership with different scrum teams to ensure the successful automation of the CI/CD pipeline.
Infusion has been brought on to provide technical strategy and a DevOps transformation to a well known investment bank. Our team is currently advising on several different platforms which include Big Data, TM1, Qliksense and includes a large number of applications that have been built for these platforms. We have now identified the need for a Senior DevOps person to collaborate with teams and look at automating the various pipelines. You would look at automating the following: code management, code promotion, operations and testing and more importantly, replacing manual processes and supporting customisation to enhance efficiency.
As the only DevOps expert on this project, you should be comfortable with collaborating with the different teams to understand the problem and take ownership. You will thus play an integral role and help promote a 'DevOps culture'. You should also be confident in managing various stakeholders with the ability to communicate across various technical and functional groups as part of the wider programme we are delivering.
The successful candidate should already have a strong foundation in Powershell, Python and Ruby.
